Another day, another pier

Another day, another pier. While tons of concrete have been poured, work in this series show some real progress.

Here the roadway atop a pier (support column) takes shape in concrete, but look how far away Oakland is. Work is progressing from east to west. Workers have made a lot of progress on the future eastbound lanes while the westbound lanes begin taking shape.
