Crews have assembled the last of 14 tower cranes

Click on the pictures for a close-up of the assembly and views from the “cat-bird” seat of an adjacent crane, way up above San Francisco Bay.

Note the existing bridge to the south, forested Yerba Buena Island and flat Treasure Island in the backdrop. The shimmering City of San Francisco basks in a rare fogless summer day on the horizon.
